PENYULUHAN ARTHITIS GOUT (ASAM URAT) PADA LANSIA DI DASAWISMA ANGGREK I dan II PERUMAHAN BUMI ANTARIKSA, KLEGEN, MADIUN
Abstract
Arthitis Gout is often called "the disease of kings" because this disease is associated with good eating and drinking habits. The results of the 2012 Riskesdas revealed that the prevalence of gout in Indonesia was 11.9% and in East Java it was 26.4% (RI Ministry of Health, 2013). Data on the Madiun City Health Office in 2015 showed nearly 10,000 cases occurred in Madiun. Gout occurs mainly in men, ranging from the age of puberty to reaching the peak age of 40-50 years, whereas in women, the percentage of gout begins to be found after entering menopause. Management of gout arthritis was often difficult because it related to adherence to lifestyle changes (Azari, 2014). Attitudes and behavior played an important role because it influenced a person's response to illness and diseases (Notoatmodjo, 2010).The solution offered to optimally introduce gout wasby lectures and discussions. Hopefully, the results would be obtained in the form of knowledge about perceptions of illness, knowledge of symptoms, causes of disease, treatment and lifestyle in gout sufferers resulting inchangings the behaviors of gout sufferers inthe Dasawisma Anggrek I and II,PKK group at Antariksa, Klegen, Madiun
