PELATIHAN PENGELOLAAN KEUANGAN KELUARGA BAGI IBU-IBU RUMAH TANGGA DI WILAYAH RT 02 DUSUN 4 DESA SUKA MULYA KABUPATEN OGAN ILIR

Abstract

Increasing daily needs and unstable family financial conditions can be a serious problem in household life. Excessive lifestyle, unability to determine the priority scale of household spending are also problems that often occur in society. This can  occur  due  to  the  lack  of  literacy  in  the  management  of  family  finances.Therefore, it was important to conduct a family financial management training activity.   Family   financial   management   training   was   able   to   increase understanding  of  household  financial  management  literacy.  Family  financial management  training  would  be  effective  if  it  was  aimed  at  housewives. Culturally,  most  housewives  had  a  big  role  in  managing  the  family  finances. The  problem  was,  not  all  housewives  had  adequate  financial  management literacy abilities. The family financial management training activities that had been carried out showed that in the beginning, the financial literacy ability of housewives  was  still  low.  However,  after  taking  part  in  a  family  financial management   training   activity   conducted   by   the   Musi   Charitas   Catholic University team, their financial management literacy was better.
