PENYULUHAN PENGGUNAAN KOSMETIK PADA WAJAHDAN APLIKATORNYA PADA KELOMPOK PKK RW 09KELURAHAN KLEGEN KECAMATAN KARTOHARJOPERUMAHAN BUMI ANTARIKSA MADIUN

Abstract

Cosmetics is a substance or combination of ingredients that are intended to be used in cleansing, giving a fragrance, and changing appearance in order to make it in a good condition. In general, the purpose of using cosmetics on the face is to improve the appearance and to conceal unattractive parts. The use of cosmetics on the face has the risk of microbial contamination as the result of using unhygienic applicator, sharing cosmetics between the users, and saving cosmetics improperly such as in warm and humid places. Accordingly, it was highly required to give counseling about the use of cosmetics on the face and its applicator towardPemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK, the Family Welfare Empowerment) group in RW 09 Bumi Antariksa Residence Madiun. The activitieswere carried out through talk shows, interactive discussions, consultations, and mentoring related to the use and storage of cosmetics on the face properly and precisely. Thecounseling successfully improved their knowledge to concern about expired date, applicator usage, storage, damaged cosmetics quality, and avoidance of sharing face cosmetics.
