PEMBELAJARAN ADIWIYATA MELALUI PENGOLAHAN SAMPAH ORGANIK MENJADI BRIKET ARANG SEBAGAI SUMBER ENERGI ALTERNATIF TERBARUKAN

Abstract

The implementation of  Public Service (PkM) was an application of the Adiwiyata learning process through the processing of organic waste into charcoal briquettes as a renewable alternative energy source. This was given to students and accompanying teachers at SMPN 10 Madiun City, who carry out Adiwiyata activities. The problem faced by partners was processing organic waste. The solution offered was to conduct training and assistance in processing organic waste into charcoal briquettes as the renewable alternative energy source. Besides, materials for practicing in making charcoal and charcoal briquettes were also given. The conclusion based on the results of the implementation of Public Service (PkM) activities is that students of SMP N 10 Madiun City are able to make charcoal briquettes as a renewable alternative energy source from wood branch waste.
